BESA Speeds Pre-AH1 Programs consist of our Spring & Summer Programs for our ATOM Players and our Fall & Winter Weekly programs for our Atom to Midget Players.

For ATOM level players (age 9-11), BESA SPEED offers an 'Introduction to AH1' - an intensive four-day program to help younger players develop the critical skating skills that will set them up for future success.

Less intense than BESA AH1, the Peewee program runs for four days, but begins the minute you register by asking your Player(s) to set their own goals and intentions for the program. The program includes an introduction of the skills and drills used in the AH Program. Players will experience the focus on Technique, Power, Sprint and Speed as well as on-ice. With Olympic Sprint Trainer Walter Dong, Your Athletic will gain:

  • Significant improvement in technique, power, Sprint, and speed and confidence that will allow your player to become a dominant force on the ice.
  • A special emphasis on stopping and forward skating skills - the foundation of all power and speed.
  • An incredible chance to meet the highly-skilled, BESA SPEED team and receive individual instruction from some of the best skating coaches in the world
  • A great sense for whether or not the BESA program is a good choice for your player in the future.

For Novice & PEEWEE level players we work with local hockey associations and skating clubs during the fall & winter, providing BESA instructors and content on a weekly basis.
