  This Elite program is geared for players that are striving for excellence on ice. It will feature detailed technique training and advanced biomechanical instruction, providing the instruction and expertise needed to optimize skating techniques and develop maximum efficiency, power, acceleration and speed!

  The program curriculum will demonstrate excellent technique, but will not stop there. It teaches players of all levels to break down their skating and skills into crucial components, and then execute them with speed at high-intensity intervals. The students are shown how to strengthen weak areas, so they can continue to grow and develop their skills and move onto more advanced abilities.   This Elite program is geared for players that want skills to Dominate the Ice. It will feature detailed technique training designed to teach and enhance the fundamentals of players on ice hockey skills,

  The main focus of our Bantam hockey camps will be developing the critical skills for giving and receiving body checks, both along the boards and in open ice.  It is vital that every Bantam Hockey player understands and masters the concept and reality of checking and body checking. The sooner players can develop the skill of ‘moving in the checking realm’ the less chance there will be of injury.

  In this fast-paced camp drills will incorporate key components such as balance and body positioning which will help players improve their body checking skills. All other skill aspects of the game will also be taught during this week-long camp.

  Description

  Register your player for the Midget Skating & Stick-handling, and/or if they will be playing Midget AAA level hockey in the 2018 / 2019 season.

  During this Five day camp, we will spend time refining technique in both skating and puck control, with the intention of improving both hand speed and foot speed. We make the program fun while making great use of ice and instructional time, which provides them with a foundation to continue their development and gives you, the parent, a better understanding of the Anderson Hockey program and why it is so effective.

  This Program includes 2 on-ice and 1 off-ice session daily.  One ice time per day will be focused on skating, while the other on stickhandling.  The off-ice session will link the concepts.

  In advance of the start-date of your player’s program, you will receive some pre-work to review with your player.  This is intended to be an introduction to Goal Setting and to Training With Intention.

  Program dates are available below for your planning purposes.  A more comprehensive schedule will be available in March.  Please refer to this schedule for detailed information on On Ice, Off Ice and Seminar dates and times.  Please keep in touch with the office and check the website regularly for any schedule updates or innovations. 

  Due to restricted class sizes and set ice times Anderson Hockey does not guarantee make-up classes and will not provide refunds or credits for missed classes. Changes made after April 15, 2018 are subject to a $100.00 change fee.
